What To Expect
We acknowledge that this world can be very intimidating for a beginner. The questions, excitement, anxiety, and fears you may be feeling are completely normal and we have all been there. Illuminaughty is a community of like-minded people and friends who share a passion for experiencing the pleasures that life has to offer. Members are in good company with caring people excited to meet new like-minded friends. There are no judgements or expectations.
We host a variety of event types to build community and deepen connection. There is no cost for membership but you must apply and be approved.
This application process is how we vet and curate our community. Our members are reasonably fit, active people in their 20s, 30s and 40s and know how to put in some effort to show up and impress. They are friendly, respectful, self-aware, and articulate. Many of our members are new to this world and excited to meet like-minded friends. If approved, members will be granted login access to purchase event tickets and be added to our invite list to receive all event invites via email/text.
Events are designated by member type on each event page. Most events are open to couples, single women, non-binary, and a small number of single men (typically 2-4 at an event). Our single men members are carefully selected to be intelligent, self-aware, respectful, confident, and gym fit. The number of single men allowed at each event is adjusted as single women tickets are sold to gender balance the event and maintain a comfortable, low-pressure atmosphere.
Tease Cocktail Mixers
Tease Cocktail Mixers are hosted at restaurants or bars. Typically we will have a separate area or reserved space where our group can congregate. Tease mixers are not public and you must be a member to purchase a ticket and attend. Tease mixers are a great place to meet and chat with many other members in a casual environment to make new friends and get a taste of what Illuminaughty is all about.
Private Parties
Our private parties are where the real fun happens. If you’re a first-timer, don’t worry—you won’t be alone in feeling nervous. Our parties are carefully curated to create a safe, sexy, and low-pressure environment with no expectation to participate. You get to choose your own adventure: relax and watch, stay with your partner, or join in the fun. Remember, voyeurism is a form of participation. Night parties typically run from 8 PM to 2 AM and All Day Soirees run from 2 PM until midnight and provide more time to make connections and get to know fellow members.
Illuminaughty events are hosted at private residences that are owned by our members or rented for a specific event. These clean, classy homes range in size from cozy single family houses, to executive high rise apartments, or sprawling country estates. The music, lighting, and decor is intentionally presented at every event to provide the Illuminaughty experience and our private security team is there to keep an extra eye on things and ensure the safety and comfort of our guests as well as the venue and nearby community.
Venue Vibe & Event Capacity
Each party listing includes a sliding scale Venue Vibe rating and Capacity rating. These ratings will help provide an expectation of what the experience will be like and the price of the events will vary slightly to reflect the venue vibe. Most private parties host 40-80 members. Smaller events can provide a more intimate setting where its easier to get to know everyone, and larger, more social events offer a chance to meet a wide variety of members. From a cozy home, to a luxurious mansion, these ratings will allow you to taylor the experience to your desires and budget.


Our parties have a designated arrival window, typically from 8:00-9:30 PM for a night party or 2:00-3:30 PM for an All Day Soiree, and punctuality is expected. Doors close after the arrival window and late arrivals are not allowed. We start with a brief opening talk to cover the logistics of the venue, discuss consent and safety, and review rules and communication best practices. After that, you’re free to enjoy the party until closing time. These events are BYOB, so bring your own drinks to enjoy or share. We’ll provide a variety mixers and non-alcoholic beverages for our guests. (Pro tip: Arrive early in the arrival window to have more time to meet new people, chat, and flirt over drinks before the party really kicks off.)
Themes
All parties have a dress theme listed on the event page, and members are expected to follow the theme and dress to impress. Failing to follow the dress code multiple times may result in your membership being cancelled. Most of our themes are formal with women wearing cocktail attire or lingerie and men in suits, but some events are designed to be more playful and casual such as our Neon or Pajama Parties.
Multiple rooms will be set up for various experiences. You might find a room with massage tables, a large bed for group play, or spaces equipped with BDSM and kink toys. While BDSM and kink play are sometimes present, they are not the central focus of our events.
Mansion Parties & Destination Retreats
Occassionally, we will host larger events at mansions or take over resorts for multi-day private retreats. These regional larger events are intended to grow community and build new relationships as people travel from farther away for a unique experience. Multi-day events provide more time together to deepen connections with new or old friends and allow space for passions to grow. Larger mansion parties offer 150+ members an opulent evening of fantasy and exploration in a uniquely luxurious environment.
